Chloe Tupper

Vale Chloe. With great sadness STALA CONTEMPORARY announces that Chloe Tupper passed away in June 2020. A gentle soul and dedicated and talented artist, Chloe touched the lives of all who knew her. It was Chloe's and her family's wish that her artistic legacy live on and so her exquisite and painterly artworks continue to be available through STALA CONTEMPORARY. 

ARTIST STATEMENT

I have been inspired in my recent works by my family's home and garden. It is an area that I have grown familiar with and enjoy. I have selected things that are important in everyday life, and combined these with plants and flowers from the garden. I want to celebrate things that we often take for granted, the beauty that surrounds us everyday, such as our home and garden, and precious objects. I enjoy working in oil paint on linen, building up the surface in layers of paint. Colour and marks are carefully considered in order to reflect the beauty of my personal world.
