Michele Ulrich

Swiss born Ulrich is a Perth based multidisciplinary artist. She has a BA in Fine Art from Curtin University in WA and is currently represented in Perth by Stala Contemporary. Deeply nostalgic, Ulrich has a particular relationship with photography and print-making. Two mediums, that like the artist’s existential explorations, talk about our resistance to change and notions of memory, life, death and spirituality. Because what is death but an uncomfortable change? Her art offers an aesthetic frame for this.
